The graduating class is composed of future leaders for a wide variety of fields they will pursue after Minerva. As citizens of 40 different countries who have traveled the world together, they represent the global interdisciplinary collaboration needed to address some of today’s most complex challenges. We are honored to gather the international community of people who have supported them on their journey for this special graduation.
A Minerva education is unique and our approach to graduation is no different. It takes place over Manifest, a month-long series of academic milestones, community traditions, and rites of passage culminating in a multi-part ceremony taking place online and offline on May 25th and May 26th: Zenith, The Lyrical and The Degree Conferral.

Undergraduate degree candidates, please register yourself for all Manifest and Graduation events here as well as your guests for the multi-part Graduation Ceremony.
An outline and description of the festivities are listed below. We look forward to celebrating with you!
For guests traveling from outside of the United States, you can request for a Visa Application Support Letter via the form to assist their visa applications.
For all in-person events a mask is not required, wearing one is your choice. We require you to show no Covid-19 symptoms within 10 days of the event.
It is with excitement that we welcome students to participate in a series of month-long Manifest events. Please note that changes in schedule might still occur as we are still solidifying details. Venues & timing will be updated as they are finalized & will be communicated immediately to M26 students.

Manifest Move-In
Van Ness Res Hall | April 29 - May 3
Students who have been in Minerva Housing in San Francisco during Spring will be staying in their same housing arrangements. All students returning from Global Rotation or Remote Study will be placed in 2550 Van Ness, along with all other Manifest students.
Sunrise Walk
Golden Gate Bridge | May 4

Students in the graduating Class of 2026 will be united through the shared experience of Minerva Ritual, the Sunrise Walk, which initiates Manifest in San Francisco. More precise details on starting location will be shared before the event.
Welcome to Manifest*

Join Minerva faculty, staff, and your peers for a virtual welcome & orientation to get you grounded & prepared for Manifest. Minerva Staff & Faculty will share more concrete schedules & details around Manifest sessions & workshops, so you can succeed & fully engage with your Manifest month.
Manifest Opening Ceremony*

Join the San Francisco Student Life Team and your peers for a welcome and celebration to the beginning of Manifest in San Francisco. This event will feature Legacy Group engagement, student speeches & performances, as well as a 10:01 on the SF Bay Area, presented by the SFSL Team. A light dinner will be provided from 4pm - 5pm.

Week 1 Academic & CTD Workshops*

Week one is still developing. We are exploring CTD & Academic Workshops that feel relevant to either capstone or post-graduate life. If added, these would be mandatory to help fill seat time.
SF Re-Exploration Day*
Various Locations | May 8
10am - 3pm
This is your chance to rediscover the magic of San Francisco! You'll be put into groups and will journey around pre-set routes to discover some hidden gems across the city that you haven't seen or noticed before. From historic murals to hidden spots of greenery to cultural icons, this is sure to be a great chance to rediscover the City by the Bay!
Logistics and details will be added to Community Portal at a later date.
Exploration day is Mandatory to help students meet their seat time requirements. More information on this at the Welcome to Manifest session.
Self-Guided City Experience*
to be completed by May 25
In the continued spirit of re-exploring San Francisco, students are required to complete two Self-Guided City Experiences by or before May 25, and submit a small video reflection to show completion of the experience. Students can select any one of the options available via the SF Experiences Page on MyMinerva, or propose their own Self-Guided City Experience. Make plans with your friends or your guests for graduation to explore San Francisco together during your Manifest month!
Self-Guided City Experiences are set as Mandatory to help students fill their seat time. More information at the Welcome to Manifest session.
Capstone Classes*
May 11 - 13
Students will facilitate a one-hour class session that they design to teach an aspect of their Capstone project to a class of their peers, giving participants ample opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and application of HCs. In addition to the class session they lead, each student must attend 11 other class sessions as assigned. Exact class times and individual students' schedules will be made available in late April.
Students should block 9 am to 5:30 pm on these days until they know their schedule.
Capstone Bonfire
Ocean Beach | May 15

Students are invited to celebrate the completion of their final academic milestone, the Capstone Classes. Join San Francisco Student Life at the beach for some fun as the sun sets on another week of Manifest!
Manifest Conference*
Hybrid | May 18 - 20
The Manifest Conference, spanning 3 days, will include Minerva Talks from staff, faculty & alumni, CTD workshops to prepare for life after graduation, a Student Symposium, and will conclude with a conference closing ceremony & mixer.
Monday will be virtual. Tuesday & Wednesday in person. More information at the Welcome to Manifest session.
Students should block off the times listed for the 3 days of conference activities.
Manifest Conference: Minerva Talks*

Day 1 of the Manifest Conference presents us with Minerva Talks led by Minerva Staff, Faculty, and Alumni. Multiple talks will be running simultaneously, over a 5 hour block. Students will be required to attend 1 talk per hour.

Manifest Conference: CTD Workshops*

Join CTD for a series of post-grad prep workshops. The topics will be sourced from the M26 class with the help of ASM.
Manifest Conference: Student Symposium*

Day 3 of The Manifest Conference is a celebration & presentation of the M26 class. The M26 students will have the opportunity to present their passion projects, prepare panels of their peers, perform excerpts of plays, and celebrate their works & accomplishments with the Minerva community.

Manifest Conference: Closing Ceremony & Mixer*

Join Minerva staff & faculty, along with alumni & partners for a celebratory finale to the Manifest Conference. Students will get to mix & mingle with alumni & partners, while engaging with light programming. Bites and beverages provided.

Zenith represents the beginning of the highest point of M26’s Minerva University journey, graduation! This is the first of three events making up the Minerva Graduation. Zenith will engage students in activities & reflections across multiple spaces & groups. These activities & reflections are grounded in traditional Minerva Rituals.
ASM Family Field Day

The M26 ASM reps invite all Minerva graduates, their family members & guests, and staff & faculty to come together for a picnic & field day. This event will give the extended Minerva community a time to relax, eat together, and engage in games, activities & contests. This is a non-ticketed event.
The Lyrical

This is the second event of the Minerva Graduation for M26 graduates. The Minerva community—graduates, their family members & guests, staff & faculty—are invited to come and celebrate the achievements of the M26 Class as a whole with the Lyrical Virtual Ceremony. This is a non-ticketed, virtual event.
Degree Conferral Ceremony
Herbst Theater | May 26

This is the third event of the Minerva Graduation for M26 graduates. Graduates and three ticketed family members & guests are invited to celebrate the Class of 2026 with a Degree Conferral Ceremony, followed by reception and delicious bites and drinks. Join the Minerva staff and faculty in celebrating the achievement of the Class of 2026. The Herbst Theater will host us for the ceremony, with the Veterans Building Lobby hosting the reception, featuring dessert & drinks. This is a ticketed event.

Valete, Salvete
Pandora Karaoke Bar | May 26
Say goodbye (valete) to being a student and hello (salvete) to being a Minerva Alum! Minerva graduates are invited to join the Alumni for this Graduation tradition. Mix and mingle with Alumni, participate in alumni initiation, and let loose in celebration of Graduation!
Manifest Move-Out
May 27 & 28
All students in San Francisco housing must be moved out of the residence hall by 12:00 pm PDT on Thursday, May 29th. We wish the Class of 2026 the best of luck on their next adventure!
