The graduating class is composed of future leaders for a wide variety of fields they will pursue after Minerva. As citizens of 40 different countries who have traveled the world together, they represent the global interdisciplinary collaboration needed to address some of today’s most complex challenges. We are honored to gather the international community of people who have supported them on their journey for this special graduation.
A Minerva education is unique and our approach to graduation is no different. It takes place over Manifest, a month-long series of academic milestones, community traditions, and rites of passage culminating in a multi-part ceremony taking place online and offline on May 20th and May 21st: Zenith (undergraduate only), The Lyrical and The Degree Conferral.

Registration
We are so excited to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2024 with the family and friends who have supported them along their journey to graduation.
Undergraduate degree candidates, please register yourself for all Manifest and Graduation events here as well as your guests for the multi-part Graduation Ceremony.
An outline and description of the festivities are listed below. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Procedures & Policies
For guests traveling from outside of the United States, you can request for a Visa Application Support Letter via the form to attend the ceremony on May 21st. We'd also like to remind you to check the US government policy with regards to Covid-19 travel restrictions before booking your flight tickets.
For all in-person events a mask is not required, wearing one is your choice. We require you to show no Covid-19 symptoms within 10 days of the event and to be fully vaccinated.
Manifest Schedule
It is with excitement that we welcome students to participate in a series of month-long Manifest events. Please note that changes in schedule might still occur depending on Covid-19 and Health Guidelines. Venues & timing will be updated as things are finalized & will be communicated immediately to M24 students.

Manifest Move-In
16 Turk | April 26 - 28
Students residing in Minerva housing for Manifest will have three days to move into the residence hall & should be fully vaccinated. More information will be provided by the Student Life team closer to move-in.
Sunrise Walk
Golden Gate Bridge | April 29
5:30 am PST
Students in the graduating Class of 2024 will be united through the shared practice of a Minerva ritual, the Sunrise Walk to initiate Manifest in San Francisco.
Welcome to Manifest*

Join Minerva faculty, staff, and your peers for a virtual welcome & orientation to get you grounded & prepare for Manifest. Minerva Staff & Faculty will share details on all things you need to know to succeed & fully engage with your Manifest month.
Manifest Opening Ceremony*
UC Law Auditorium | April 29
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm PST
Join Minerva faculty, staff, and your peers for a welcome and celebration to the beginning of Manifest. This event will feature Legacy Group engagement, student speeches & performances, as well as a traditional 10:01 to round out the evening. A light dinner will be provided.
Academic & CTD Workshops*
April 30 & May 1
The first week of Manifest will involve mandatory preparation for Capstone classes, including workshops, office hours, peer activities, and independent work. Please keep Tuesday 4/30 & Wednesday 5/01 clear for these.
SF Exploration Day
Various Locations around San Francisco | May 1
An event lost to the M24 class, the Manifest Team is happy to engage students in SF Exploration Day, via the Actionbound app. Students will get to choose between various routes through the city, with quests & stops along the way, to expose students to multiple neighborhoods in SF.
Capstone Classes*
May 6 - 8
Students will facilitate a one-hour class session that they design to teach an aspect of their Capstone project to a class of their peers, giving participants ample opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and application of HCs. In addition to the class session they lead, each student must attend 11 other class sessions as assigned. Exact class times and individual students' schedules will be made available in late April.
Students should block 9 am to 5:30 pm on these days until they know their schedule.
SF City Experiences**
Various Locations | May 9, 10, 13, 14
Join SF Student Life Team members on various City Experiences around San Francisco. From volunteer opportunities, neighborhood tours, & engaging with local businesses, students will get the opportunity to engage with San Francisco & learn about its history & culture.
Students will be able to sign up for these experiences via Community Portal. Experience slots are limited, and we’re working to ensure that there’s a spot for everyone across all experiences. More information will be shared at the Welcome to Welcome session.

Capstone Bonfire
Ocean Beach | May 10
6:00 - 8:00 pm PST
Students are invited to celebrate the completion of this final academic milestone, the Capstone Classes. Join Student Life at the beach for some fun with the sunset!
Manifest Conference*
May 15 - 17
The Manifest Conference, spanning 3 days, will include panels & presentations from students & faculty, CTD workshops to prepare for life after graduation, and will conclude with a conference closing ceremony & mixer.
Wednesday will be virtual. Thursday & Friday in person. More information at the Welcome to Manifest session.
Manifest Conference Closing Ceremony & Mixer
May 17

Join Minerva staff & faculty, along with alumni & partners for a celebratory finale to the Manifest Conference. Students will get to mix & mingle with alumni & partners, while engaging with an alumni panel, student performances & poster-style presentations. Food and drink provided by Debonair Events.
Zenith*

Zenith represents the beginning of the highest point of M24’s Minerva University journey, graduation! Part I of the III part graduation Zenith will engage students in activities & reflections that are rooted in the elements; Fire, Water, Earth, Air, & Heart.
ASM Family Field Day
Location: TBD | May 20
4:00 - 7:00 pm PST
The M24 ASM reps invite all Minerva Graduates, their families/guests, and Staff & Faculty to come together for a picnic & field day. This event will give the extended Minerva community a time to relax, eat together, and engage in games, activities & contests.
The Lyrical
Online | May 21
8:00 - 9:30 am PST
This is the second event of the Minerva Graduation for Undergraduate Students. The Minerva community including guests, faculty, and staff are invited to come and celebrate the achievements of the class of 2024 as a whole.
Degree Conferral Ceremony
The Hibernia | May 21
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm PST
This is the third event of the Minerva Graduation for Undergraduates. Students and two of their guests are invited to celebrate the Class of 2024 with delicious food and drinks, including Minerva's diploma ritual.
Dress code: Formal or Traditional attire.
Valete, Salvete
Pandora Karaoke Bar | May 21
Say goodbye (valete) to being a student and hello (salvete) to being a Minerva Alum! Minerva graduates are invited to join the Alumni for this Graduation tradition. Mix and mingle with Alumni, participate in alumni initiation, and let loose in celebration of Graduation!
Manifest Move-Out
May 22 - 23
All students in San Francisco housing must be moved out of the residence hall by 12:00 pm PDT on Thursday, May 23rd. We wish the Class of 2024 the best of luck on their next adventure!
